All bacterial cells invariably have a cell membrane cytoplasm ribosome and chromatin bodies .The majority have a cell wall which gives shape to the bacteria specific shapes like capsule slime and flagella pili fimbriae and granules are present in all bacterial structure.
Size:-
bacteria range in size from about 0.1 to 600 over a single dimensions . Bacteria vary in size as much as in shape.yhe smallest bacteria is genus are about 100 to 200 NM in diameter approximately the size of the largest bacteria is E.coli. that the size of 1.1 to 1.5um wide by 2.0 to 6.0nm long.some spirochetes reach 500um.
Shape of Bacteria:-
on the basis of general shape bacteria are classified into three categories these are known as cocci bacilli and spiral . Although most of the bacterial species have constant cell shape yet some cells and gems and they can exist in variety of shapes.
The cocci are spherical or oval bacteria having one of several districts arrangements based on their planes of division. If division is in one plane it will produce over a streptoc.opus arrangements. When cocci occur in pairs then arrangements is sipl.occus whereas several cocci form long chains of cells and their arrangements called streptococcus.
A tetrad is a spherical of 4 cocci . Thirdly when the division is in three planes it will produce a staphylococcus arrangements.
Bacilli are rod shaped bacteria Bacilli are divided in one plane producing a bacillus .Bac.illis is a single shape of Bacteria. When rod shaped bacteria occur in pairs then arrangements of cells is known as cocci.
The spiral shaped bacteria are spirally coiled. Spirals come in one of three forms.a vibrio a sipirillium . Vibrio is curved or commo shaped rod.
It is a thick rigid spiral Spirochete is a thin flexible spiral.
Bacteria Cell Structure:-
These are extremely thin hair like appendages. It comes out through cell wall and original form basal body.structure just like a germs. And a membrane I’m the cytoplasm. They are made up of protein flagellinare classified into different taxonomic groups
